Ups and Downs.

Just for reference, for anyone thinking about selling cars, here is an example of what can happen to your income at any time (my night tonight):

2007 Ford F-150 - Didn't get approved, co-signed failed. ($1,200.00)

2011 Lincoln MKX - Customers Backed out.                   ($500.00)

2010 Ford F-150 (Mentioned in earlier post) Cancelled    ($400.00)

= $2,100.00 lost in one evening.

Feels bad man.

  14. Money you have not earned is not money lost.. thats a trap thats easy to fall into... remember it's not a sale til it's final... pretty soon you'll get an instinct for which customers will complete and which won't, and you'll shove the deadbeats onto the new guy, just like the experienced guys are doing to you right now...

  18. @Crunky.

I get what your saying, but in my opinion money earned for me is when they sit down and write/sign a bill of sale, as was the case in all 3 situations.

Our workplace is a free for all when it comes to getting customers, there is no given order. For this reason, it is very beneficial to become the feared "lot shark" and just hang around outside harassing customers.
